Pulisha Brisson is an accomplished executive assistant to the Vice President of Research and Development at a leading pharmaceutical company, where she leverages her deep administrative and strategic experience to support high-level innovation. Prior to this role, Pulisha served as the Grant Administrator for the City of East Orange, securing over $4.6 million in Essex County CARES funding in 2020 and identifying numerous other grant opportunities that advanced citywide initiatives. Before that, she played a pivotal role in modernizing the East Orange Fire Department as a Human Resources Specialist—streamlining operations, serving as a key liaison between HR and the department, and acting as Administrative Secretary to the Fire Chief.
In addition to her professional career, Pulisha is a freelance event planner and passionate community advocate. As Chair of Social and Cultural Events for the Urban League of Essex County Young Professionals, she works tirelessly to empower underserved residents, driven by a mission to create opportunities and uplift lives. “If I can help improve the life of just one person,” she says, “my mission is complete.
