Yvonna Wade is a seasoned educational leader and professional learning strategist with more than a decade of experience advancing instructional quality and math instruction in schools. As Director of Professional Learning at Curriculum Associates, she leads a high-impact team supporting implementations and districts across New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. Yvonna has a proven track record in coaching, strategic planning, and leadership development, with a critical focus on aligning instructional practices with student-centered outcomes.
Yvonna began her career as a STEM and special education teacher before becoming an instructional leader and curriculum director in a Newark-based charter school network. She holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University, with international study experience in South Africa and China. She is also a graduate of Harvard University’s National Institute for Urban School Leaders and a proud Leadership Newark alumna. Passionate about community empowerment, Yvonna proudly serves as Secretary of the Urban League of Essex County’s Young Professionals. Her work is driven by a commitment to educational equity, community impact, and the transformative power of strong school leadership.
